Registration Process

When can I register for GIS Taiwan 2026?

Early-bird registration is from March 17 to April 6. Regular registration is from April 7 to May 24.

How can I confirm that I have gotten into the interview section?

We will inform you shortly after you submit the written registration form. An email with details of your interview would then be sent.

When do I know that I passed the interview?

We would inform you shortly after your interview. If you pass, you will receive an email with details regarding payment.

Payment

How much is the conference fee?

Early bird and group of 5 or more: NTD 5,000 per person. Regular registration: NTD 5,400 per person. Group of 10 or more: NTD 4,800 per person.

How do I complete the payment?

Symposium Events

What is an impact project?

Student delegates are assigned to come up with a problem-solving project on one of the academic topics. During which, we encourage delegates to take a deep dive into the topic, and through intensive research and idea exchange to substantialize the creative and brilliant ideas into impactful and insightful Impact Projects.

Are there other activities besides the five-day symposium?

We do offer various activities, including our ultimate night tour and the one and only culture festival. More related information will be released on our official website and Facebook fan page.

Is full participation during the symposium required?

To ensure the quality of the conference, delegates’ full participation in the forum is required. If any unpreventable factor occurs, resulting in the partial absence of the delegates, delegates should inform the organizing committee at the earliest possible time. We do apologize for your inconvenience. Should a delegate miss over a day of the symposium, we will not award that delegate his/her participation certificate.

Delegate Etiquette

What language should I use during the conference?

The official language of Global Initiatives Symposium is English, delegates should communicate with each other in English.

Is there any dress code during the conference?

Delegates should wear business formal during the whole conference.

Can I take photos or videos when speakers are giving speeches?

No. To respect the speaker and all other delegates, no photos or videos are allowed during the conference (when speakers are giving speeches).

Will transportation be provided during the symposium?

We will only provide transportation to and from event venues outside of NTU.
